Sundays are the best - no plans, relax before the work week begins, afternoon naps - but for us, its family day - EVERY Sunday.
We all look forward to family day because no matter what, we're all together. Most family days, we go for a nice drive near by or to Santa Cruz. But what makes it even more exciting is we all hop in the '55 pick up - Dad in the driver seat, then hailey under his arm, Bubba in his car seat, and mama at the passenger window. The kids never ask 'are we there yet?', 'when can we go home?', 'I'm tired'. Life just looks better through old glass.
