Soooo, my grocery getter is shackin up in the garage for the time being for expired tags :( But, good ol Chavela (our 55 pick up) is ready to rock!
Its been so great taking the ol truck as the daily driver to pick up my daughter from school, go shopping, ect - Instead of hopping on Highway 1, we take the backroads through the apple orchards and then the redwoods. And I tell you, its made the most dreaded trips, like paying the water bill, so much more exciting. My kids are right next to me, looking out the window, taking in the smells and sites, talking to me about their day and listening to tunes. In the Magnum there were other distractions, the windows were usually up and the kids were bored. But not in Daddy's old truck.
